Georgia on my mind...
September 13th, 2004,
Atlanta, Georgia

The grand ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Buckhead was filled to capacity as the official launch of Happy Vodka, Happy Rum, Happy Tequila and Happy Gin in Georgia commenced with adulation. Hosted by Quality Wine & Spirits and Inland Seafood, thousands of clients, customers and vendors attended this outstanding event and almost every one of them “Got a bit Happy”, as cases of Happy Vodka, Happy Rum, Happy Tequila and Happy Gin were consumed.
|
“Although we have been on backorder for many months now, our enthusiasm for the Happy product family is strong. The unique and fun packaging filled with great products from Russia, Trinidad, Mexico and England will rapidly be embraced by the discriminating folk of Georgia who know a good thing when they experience it...” said Kevin Brady, Off-Premise Sales Manager of Quality Wine & Spirits “…we are ready to make the whole State of Georgia ‘Happy!’”
Ready indeed, as retailers fell in love with the Happy case boxes that each convert into a stand-up retail display, and premise accounts loved the product family as they envisioned them side by side prominently displayed on their bars. “Happy is a retailers dream product…” says Gray C. Solomon of Liquor Group, “bars & restaurants love it too, it just makes customers smile, it really makes their day brighter and the outstanding product quality always brings them back for more ‘Happiness’!” |
Arriving at the Cabin Room Bar for ‘industry night’, the Happy family out sold most call brands on its first night in Georgia, until they ran out!
As the Southern Beverage Journal and other media photographers came over to the eight-foot tall Happy display, everybody got excited about the small round bottles with the smiley face labels that covered the countertop. “This is fabulous! Just FABULOUS!” said one patron, and we agree!

Michigan is the next Control State to Get Happy!
August 10, 2004,
Highland Park, Michigan:
Well, Happy never ceases to amaze, and today is no different, as the Control State of Michigan lists all four available Happy products: Happy Vodka, Happy Rum, Happy Tequila and Happy Gin. Michigan has ordered quantities that have wiped out the stockpile of product in the Happy warehouse! Although Happy is already on allocation to existing distributors around the world, Gray Solomon of Liquor Group decided that securing Michigan was the right move for Happy. “We want to keep the NABCA members Happy…after their convention in Florida, we have gotten calls and orders from all over the country!”
|

The Happy product family has no difficulties getting major distribution, but Happy President C. J. Eiras still sites some concerns: “We are making the Happy products as fast as we can, but even with our new bottling arrangement in Lake Alfred, FL, we cannot keep up with the massive domestic demands. Our suppliers are working diligently to get Happy out to the world, but no matter how many bottles we have ordered, it is never enough.” |
Never enough is an understatement, as more Happy bottles were sold in the first week of August than the entire first two years of Happy Vodka’s existence! This booming brand has created excitement and fun in the liquor industry, and its continual expanse has brought a smile to the face of retailers and on premise venues from around the world. So…who’s next to “Get Happy?”

Happy Again!!!
August 10, 2004
Now that the first round of production has been completed for the Happy family of products, distributors and clients are now receiving the new and improved Happy Vodka, as well as the new products Happy Rum, Happy Tequila and Happy Gin. Control states such as Alabama are very pleased to receive the new product, as their previous inventory order depleted in only 9 days! The US NAVY supplies service NEXCOM, which orders Happy products directly to their three national warehouses for international distribution had 5 purchase orders on backlog awaiting the new production. Liquor Group's Florida distribution company had to relocate their warehouse to handle sales of the new and improved Happy brand, and the State of Georgia has been on back order for months now.
"It is no surprise that clients are willing to wait for this product, it is truly a winner!" says Gray C. Solomon of Liquor Group, |
"Even our own Liquor Group distribution companies have had to patiently await the new production of Happy, but they are definitely worth the wait!"

Retailers miss the small round smiley-faced bottles in their stores, they often refer to the brand fondly as "the little product that could." Now that little product has three sisters that will really help boost sales! The new improved packaging will also help, as every case has a stand up point of sale display to attract attention to the cases, which make them a prime candidate for end-caps and floor displays in retail stores.
|
If you are thinking about getting Happy...get in line! There are more than 14 states and many countries on back order for the products, and existing customers are on allocation until production catches up with demand. What do you expect from a product who's EMPTY bottles sell on eBay for up to $45 each?

New Smile Around Town...
July 27, 2004
Happy Vodka Corporation releases their new and improved "Happy Vodka" to the world! After careful selection and consideration of sample vodkas from purveyors of fine spirits from all over the globe, the new Happy Vodka supplier has delivered what we consider to be "one of the finest vodkas in the world", although we do not market it that way! The Happy approach to spirit marketing is simple: we put high quality alcoholic beverages inside our cute and lovable "Happy bottles" then price them reasonably, so that everyone can afford to enjoy them. Seems like a very simple concept, but surprisingly enough, most spirits companies choose to gouge the customers for top shelf products, |
charging far in excess of the $19.95, which is the average shelf price of Happy products. For example, Happy is a four time distilled imported Russian vodka, comparable quality vodka currently sells for more than $30 retail in most markets.

For that price, you may as well buy a bottle of Happy and a bottle of cranberry juice or orange juice, cups, ice and snacks...then have a picnic! (Just don't drive home afterwards!)
|
The point is that Happy Vodka is better than ever, and more people from all over are discovering the only product in the liquor industry that makes you smile before you drink it! We are making the world smile, one bottle at a time!

Happy Bottling Begins!
June 3, 2004
C. J. Eiras, President of Happy Vodka Corporation is “Happy” to announce the new beginning for bottling operations for the entire “Happy Family” of spirits products! Happy Vodka, Happy Rum, Happy Tequila and Happy Gin are now being bottled right here in Florida!! Bottles from China, stoppers from South Africa, capsules from Canada, cases boxes from the USA and spirits from Russia, Trinidad, St. Croix, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, all brought together in America. The “Happy Family” is now truly an international phenomenon!
“With our new, smoother vodka from Moscow, blended aged and fresh rum from the Caribbean, 100% blue agave tequila, and twelve botanical gin, all wonderful spirits from all around the World…” says Eiras “…Happy is certain to accelerate it’s international success!” Months of quality control evaluation and product tastings from up to 15 different distillers per product have yielded some very fine results for the “Happy Family”.
|
We can now get back to the focus of the Happy brand, FUN! The new capsules and case boxes have “Happy” on them in 15 different languages to support our worldwide orders, and the international symbol for goodwill and happiness loved by adults worldwide remains on both sides of the bottles and all over the cases…the SMILEY FACE!

After six months of production restructuring and capacity expansion ‘Happiness’ is just around the corner for all. We are ramping up the bottling plant to meet the demands and back orders from all of Happy’s existing clients, as well as new orders generated from numerous new states here at home as well as new customers from all over the world.
|
The Happy brand and it’s representative organization Liquor Group have continued to market, advertise and solicit new distributors and importers during the down time, resulting in a frenzy of clients anxiously awaiting the four Happy products.
“It has been very difficult to keep all of our clients patient during the production restructuring of Happy…” says Gray C. Solomon, managing member of Liquor Group “…but they have all agreed that the product is worth waiting for, and they appreciate the concern and respect that Eiras has shown them by revamping the Happy product to assure quality control while terminating the former manufacturers after problematic product surfaced.”
Happily it is now quite clear that Happy will again make a big splash in the spirits industry, only this time we will be able to keep up with demand!

Sweeter Home Alabama!
February 28, 2004
Happy Vodka sells out in Alabama! Alabama, the ‘Sweet Home state’, is now the ‘Don’t Worry…Drink Happy’ state! Happy Vodka arrived in Alabama just before Thanksgiving and sold out by New Year’s Eve! The reorder sold out in two weeks. Three times our projected volume and in only the first 38 out of 148 stores! That is right, Alabama, the first control state to sell Happy Vodka has consumed 3 times our projections. Our only guess is that the good people of Alabama had very ‘Happy Holidays’.
Linda Holloway of Alaplex, Inc. is a big part of this success and has nothing but good words for the Happy Vodka Corporation and Liquor Group. She recently helped launch a new state store, was featured on the television news story, and of course, she held up a bottle of Happy Vodka to show off the product. That is the kind of support that is making this success a reality. |

“Now that we have shown the control states that we can keep sales pace with other national products, we working on opening the doors for the entire ‘Happy family’ of products in all 18 control states...” says C. J. Eiras, President of Happy Vodka Corporation.
|
Gray C. Solomon of Liquor Group states: “We knew that Alabama would do wonders with the Happy Vodka product and that is why we started there, but frankly everywhere we send the product it exceeds our sales expectations!”
As Happy products continue to successfully roll-out across the country, more and more people realize that unlike all other liquor products that focus on sexy, sophisticated or “best tasting recipe” driven marketing, Happy just wants its customers to be, well, Happy!
Thank you Sweet Home, Happy, Alabama!

Happy President greets Gorbachev!
During his visit to Jacksonville, Florida, former Russian President Mikhail S. Gorbachev was welcomed by Happy Vodka’s President C. J. Eiras. Michael Regan, son of former President Ronald Regan was the commentator of the $1000 per ticket event, beginning with a 75 person private meet, greet and photo op, then ending with a ticket holder Happytini reception for 400 of the areas elite and politicos at the University of North Florida.
Photos of Eiras with Gorbachev and Eiras with Regan (with the Happy Vodka bottle) have already hit the press across the country and around the world, as this small company shows that business can flourish between Russia and the US. |

|
. “In the 90’s Russia opened its floodgates of opportunity…” says Eiras, “…now the water is becoming steady and we hope to ride the river to its end.” In a conversation Gorbachev was quoted saying: “I like your vodka, good luck with it!” as his entourage requested several bottles to take with them for their personal use.
“Had Happy Vodka been around during the cold war, maybe the ‘cold’ could have been put to better use by making Happytinis!” said one member of the group, and we could not have agreed with more!

The United Price Wise Group Gets Happy!
July 31, 2003, Florida, USA
A “Wise” decision!
The United Price Wise Group has recommended Happy Vodka to its 126 member locations across the State of Florida! “This is a great achievement for the Liquor Group in its early stages of development in the Florida market” says Gray Solomon, |
managing partner of Liquor Group, “We treat the independent stores the same as the big chains and they get the same pricing and service as well.” This commitment to the “mom & pop” stores is where Liquor Group shines in the industry. Understanding the needs of all of its clients is a top priority with this organization. |
JoAnn Busby from United Price Wise notified all of the members earlier in the month of the recommendation, and orders for the product have already begun coming in!

Oklahoma Gets Happy!!!
July 24, 2003, Oklahoma, USA.
OOOOOO….Oklahoma is the place for me!
Happy Vodka Corporation is “Happy” to announce that Best Brands, a leading liquor broker in the Midwest, has been chosen to represent Happy Vodka and the Happy liquor products line across the great State of Oklahoma! Best Brands’ Senior Management is thrilled with the opportunity to spread the Happiness in the West! Negotiations are in progress to bring Happy to other Midwestern states before year-end.
|
Happy Vodka Corporation has been very slow and deliberate in choosing representation for Happy in the U.S. as they want to roll-out the product in such a way as to guarantee its success. With the Happy tradition of tasting support, mass media, unique marketing and a grass roots effort to bring the product to the people, continued success is virtually guaranteed.
Liquor Group, the organization who oversees all Happy product sales operations throughout the U.S., feels this is a strategic move in the right direction. Gray Solomon resolves: “Building a solid clientele in states other than the top 5 is a priority. While the top 5 states are typically the trend setters, they can be fickle consumers. We want to build long-term strategic clients first and foremost, then we can deal with the big states”
|

Happy will soon be distributed nationwide, but not before it gains acceptance in existing markets, this takes a level of commitment that most new brands do not show. “A shotgun approach is what most brands take when entering the US market, they sell to all takers and spread their marketing efforts too thin,” says Solomon. “This is what Happy has avoided all along as we have concentrated on adding one state at a time.”

Liquor Group Press Release
| Aggressive Females seek to make you Happy!
June 13, 2003 – Liquor Group opens the doors to its’ first U.S. operating subsidiary; Liquor Group Florida, and will begin distribution of a portfolio of alcoholic beverages, including the hot new product line - Happy Vodka, Happy Citrus, Happy Rum, Happy Tequila and Happy Gin. The female owned and operated firm boasts a bevy of female talent, including the majority of its’ 25 Florida Sales Associates. They are strong willed, determined, ex-bartenders who know how to sell alcohol products. This radically different approach to distributing alcohol is only one of the tricks up the sleeves of the management team, including Principal Gray C. Solomon. “No it’s not ’Coyote Ugly’ comes to the distribution world…” Solomon says, “…but it IS an innovative approach to offer high paying Sales Associate positions to women who know their way around behind the bar. It just makes sense.” Indeed, their sell-through mentality is also innovative; a commitment to the customer that is unparalleled.
|
“We don’t want customers just buying products from us; we want to assure that our products will sell-through to their customers. We make every effort to deliver on that commitment.” Solomon, a Colombia MBA with a penchant for the arts, notes that the distribution network planned for the bulk of the U.S. market has been in the making for over 3 years. Careful consideration was taken to develop the Liquor Group companies and the products they represent in such a way as to become the David among the first class Goliaths of this multi-billion dollar industry: Southern Wine & Spirits, National Distributing and Premier Beverages. The first stage is set in Florida, the next is Georgia, and all told, there will be 45 state subsidiaries managed by Liquor Group within the next 5 years. Liquor Group has been in operation with massive worldwide clients such as AAFES (Army & Air Force Exchange Service) and NEXCOM (Navy Exchange Command) for some time and now it will begin to develop control and license state clients, US corporate clients, mom & pop operations and all manner of on-premise distribution. |
Solomon believes the most important aspect of all is the product portfolio, fresh concepts with strong selling records like the Happy Vodka family of products. “We are always looking for new opportunities, new products, new ideas, new markets, new personnel…that is the only way to stay ahead and win the game!” – Solomon.
